Accessibility statement

We want this service to work well for everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or browsing in bright outdoor light. Here's where things stand.

What we've built in

  • Large tap targets throughout (minimum 48px), designed for use on older or cracked-screen devices.
  • A high-contrast mode for outdoor sunlight readability, and a properly redesigned dark mode rather than a simple color inversion.
  • Every status shown with color (success, error, warning) is also shown with an icon and a text label — never color alone — so colorblind users aren't relying on hue to tell states apart.
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators on every interactive element.
  • Screen-reader-only status announcements on key state changes, like progress through the "what happens next" purchase timeline.
  • Skeleton loading states instead of blank screens while content loads.

Color contrast

Our color palette was checked against WCAG 2.1 contrast requirements using an automated contrast calculator before launch, and two real issues it found were corrected before shipping — full details are in our engineering documentation, available on request.

What we haven't fully verified yet

We have not yet completed a full screen-reader testing pass (e.g. with VoiceOver or NVDA) across every page, or a comprehensive keyboard-only navigation audit of every flow. We're being upfront about this rather than claiming full compliance we haven't verified.

Something not working for you?
